It's 5.25 and they'd likely move Jensen out, plus his contract is up. Jensen makes just over 4 million. Adding under 1.2 to the cap if they did this.

Maybe it's the last half decade of the flat cap, but I notice this sort of thing with a lot of Sens fans too, they don't want to pay anyone market rate. Everything needs to be a complete steal for the organization.

I hope they are extremely confident the punishment will be rescinded because holding onto the 21st pick in what's being called a weak draft is a choice. Sure, they could get a gem or they could trade the pick for someone established but this definitely could be a mistake.

Comparable players but I think Ottawa has been wanting to move off Norris because of health concerns. Cozens is slightly cheaper as well.
