Fresh roses to start the new week.

When I was 5 or 6, my mom who was battling pancreatic cancer, made me my the best Halloween costume a little boy could want! Super Green Puppy! She combined all my favorite things at the time-superheroes, the color green, and little puppies. I've since lost the headpiece (that had basset type ears).

Downtown San Jose earlier today. There were around 10K people participating in the No Kings Protest--a good number for San Jose! Like those around the country, it was peaceful and celebratory.
