Do I want to go back to law school? Do I want to be a lawyer after all?

This has been a brutal week. As a fed. As a trans person. As a human who cares about the wellbeing of other humans.

But I’m being held up by the most beautiful, most powerful community, and I know we’ll survive this.

The worst people I’ve ever met in my life are the most religious.

The kindest and most authentic people I’ve ever met are those who are targets of religious hatred.

Yesterday, with friends & community members, we led a joyful counter protest against evangelicals who claimed Drag Story Hour is a danger to children. We danced while they loudly called us “perverts and whoremongers” over a megaphone.

This happened in Vermont. Not Idaho or Texas.
