Here’s one I wrote years ago when the neighbors had a party and didn’t invite us. 😂

I’m making chocolate caramels, using a recipe from 1933 that my grandma got from her friend Hattie, and passed down through my aunt. Holiday food connects my grandma to my kids, who never met her. Those are the things I think about as I prepare for Christmas. 🎄❤️

Just spent a few days in Baltimore — AWP will be held there in 2026! On my to-do list (besides the conference): a harbor tour, the aquarium, and checking out the bookstore scene. Here’s a boat.
