If they don’t taste good, you can leave them in until the weather gets cooler (if it freezes in your area) & they’ll build up more sugars. Pick before a deep freeze. I used to grow carrots that were pretty measly & added perlite/ vermiculite & a little sand to the soil. I do them in a raised bed.

Adoptive parent here. I personally don’t get why there isn’t a different certificate altogether for adoptive parents or the “amending” doesn’t just amend the certificate to show that the adoptive parents are the legal guardians along with the names of the birth parent(s).
