I'm having a reader moment. My favorite author just announced she won't write the book I was eagerly anticipating. Vorfreude no more. Sad.

Authors, don't make contacting you difficult. Tried to flag a misdirected FB ad, but had no easy way to message.

Need to choose my final book of the year. Want it to be epic. Fantasy. Crime. Science fiction. I have 11 days from start to finish. Or I could sign up to KU and binge a romance series. Can't decide.

Hi authors, When you tweak your cover, title, blurb, author bio, or release date, it's not a one-stop update. Remember to reflect these changes across your website, social media, marketing materials, and platforms like Goodreads and LovelyBooks. Don't misinform or confuse your readers!

Just wrapped up my final read for the #23for23 challenge—exclusively romance, spanning various subgenres. Half were by new-to-me authors, and I even enjoyed works by a couple of talented German authors. 📚✨ Ready for the next literary adventure—Is #24for24 in the cards?

I might just have ordered 5 Bridgerton Funko pops. And I might just have to buy another shelf because of it. Merry Christmas to me. #romancenovelgeek

I like this list. It has my current read on it, Role Playing by Cathy Yardley. And a couple of my favourite authors. Check it out.

I tend to steer clear of Kickstarter due to the exorbitant shipping costs to Germany, but there's one campaign I've been eager to support. Still waiting for it since the campaign hasn't announced a start date yet.

Authors, I won't give you my email address for a free book, but I will sign up to your newsletter if you promise me a handwritten letter. So much more personal. And not something I can buy.

Alexis Daria at The Washington Post has shared her 10 best romance novels of 2023, all of them trad. published. Hmm.
I've read & enjoyed two books from the list — "Mickey Chambers Shakes It Up" and "Witch of Wild Things".
I'm not ready to name my top 10, but it will include self-published titles.
