If and when UBI comes around it's going to be very interesting to see the paradigm shifts. Feel like there are so many people going through the motions of work they don't really enjoy just because they're capable at it.

It certainly feels that way sometimes, but I'd like to hope that there's still some hope left for the creator that builds authentically. We'll see.

One of the reasons I see so many young companies throw a ton of money at ads hoping that they can 'spend to earn' rather than doing the grunt work of building the right story for the right audience.

Spotify is an AWFUL company. The way they treat their employees with perpetual looming layoffs and pay a pittance to artists is deplorable. Same reason I ended my account with them and only use Apple Music.

Love this! The years tend to all meld to together so this is a fantastic way to think about it. It probably won't move as quickly as you'd like, but also won't take as long as you think.

Borders are one of our weirdest human inventions. They're literally imaginary and yet we kill each other by the tens of thousands protecting 'them.' It's something I'll never understand.

That's definitely where the 'gold' is. The messy middle is where most of us building anything occupy most of our time anyhow.
