For et nydelig symfoniorkester vi har i Nordnorge, i form av Arktisk Filharmoni/Arctic Philharmonic! De har gitt ut album i dag, og jeg klarer ikke å stoppe musikken så jeg kommer meg ut av bilen.

The polar night is over for now, and we survived yet another 2 months of darkness and colour. Winter is still here, though.

Har vært på programpresentasjon for #Tiff, Tromsø internasjonale filmfestival. Det blir mye bra film og for en gangs skyld har jeg tid til å se mye. Gleder meg!

During polar nights season there is a time in the middle of the day where the light is so intens. On a bright "sunny" (there is no sun but you understand) day the experience is stunning. These pictures are from todays skeeing hike.

I had a lovely afternoon walk and tried to capture some of natures magic.. Wish I had better equipment for photography in the dark 🌟🌠❄️

At 10.25 in the morning the sky was on fire. I had a lovely walk to the seaside and did my morning stretch facing this. Lucky me 🥰

When you live above the Arctic circle, you live without sunshine in the darkest winter season. For two months I see no sun. This can be very hard, especially if the weather is bad. But it can also be a fabulously colorful and magical time. This is from my childhood Village.
