One of those ones where it starts to settle itself into you more and more after you finish it. Really excellent character drama on the horrors and inherent dehumanization of war, with the action still being good. Sawano OST is always good and the ending is perfect.

A good closer to Yuta and crew’s story and I like the metanarrative going on with the play script but I do kinda wish we got more of the Dynazenon cast and their story, though Gauma’s closure was nice. The Akane stuff was also really good.

The way this season builds upon itself in terms of the central mystery and conspiracy is pretty incredible, and just as gorgeous as ever. Another century of Mao Mao, her and Jinshi’s dynamic is simply addictive and something you can never tire of.

This season has so much money it makes you worried it’s part of some embezzlement scheme. Love the expansion of the core cast we saw this season, giving Marin and Gojo more opportunity to bounce off other characters. Still as lovely as ever.

More Ranma, who could complain. Love the introduction of Mousse and there’s just some real great fights in this. Can’t wait for more!

Extremely badass. Thrilling and non-stop the whole way through. Difficulty sometimes feels a bit uneven but it’s just so much fun the whole way through. Wish it could’ve been a bit longer though, and the story is kinda just there.

Finally found one of these I really like! Still have some quibbles like bosses still not being great and such but everything else is pretty dang solid. Combat Links are always goated, story is good, cast is fun, good pacing, there's even some songs I like.

Some minor monotony from getting all the endings does little to hamper the incredible experience that this game provides. Combat that feels good while still being scary, tied together with a beautiful story that revels in humanity's messiness. Hinako could solo Gilgamesh.

Maybe god should forbid white boys from having a bit of motion. Immaculate pacing that never stops with its sense of heart pounding tension and anxiety. All star cast with excellent performances with non-stop kinetic script that still feels real and grounded.

Didn’t know Ben Stiller had that dawg in him like that. Season 2 was a touch weaker but what a ride. Gorgeous directing and cinematography working hand in hand with an incredibly tight script and wonderfully layered performances. Mark S.’s journey is much like Roxas’s.

Honobu Yonezawa you are an evil man for writing kings of the fumble and nauseating situationships the way you do but also I love you and owe you my life. Just as good as Shoshimin, love the dynamics between the core cast and the mysteries are as fun as ever. I miss you Mery.

A charming and gorgeous romance series that just needs a tiny bit more oomph. The cast and their dynamics are strong as is the general writing but I hope future seasons allow more open conflict to be present. Sad we didn’t get a kiss at the end.

Game considered an all time classic is in fact a classic, more at 11. In all seriousness though I truly loved just about everything going on this one, maybe World of Ruin could’ve been slightly less aimless but that’s a nitpick in a game that earns its status and more.

Gotta love a 7 with soul. Sakaguchi’s first and only Action RPG is as fascinating as it sounds, providing a remarkably rare mixture of 7th gen AAA-isms and old school RPG philosophies that is captivating as it is a bit annoying. Fine story, OST’s a bit dry, neat game

Just a delightful and incredibly charming experience the whole way through. Really fun gameplay with the refinements made to the job system and the story is a lighthearted, fun and energetic romp, I was not expecting to become an Exdeath fan. Shoutouts to Gilgamesh.

I played this on an arcade with infinite lives and it whipped extreme amounts of ass. The haptics on the gun felt great for this nonstop thrill ride. They got the Uncharted 2 train sequence here. Wild Fang can roundhouse forklifts like nothing else, put that boy in Tekken.

How could I ever dislike more Hades. I like a lot of the new gameplay and changes to the structure but I think I prefer the first narratively, mostly cause I prefer Zag to Mel, though Mel is still great. Since this is post patch I experienced the new ending and I liked it.

The vibes and atmosphere version of Hype Moments and Aura. Unbelievably beautiful in every shot that pairs excellently with the esoteric narrative. I ended up watching a dub showing and whoever did the mixing did a great job to make it feel old w/ the gain on the audio

70% Nasu running the best bits I’ve seen him run with the rest being some of his most tragic and heartbreaking writing he’s tackled yet. Bazett and her relationship with Avenger is obviously the main attraction but I was stunned by what they achieved with Caren too

Phenomenal in every sense of the word. Gorgeous animation, profound storytelling and character depth, and a gnawing sense of love and emptiness that is impossible to fully sate. Both voice tracks are great, and the music is also killer. Fujimoto is evil

Wonderful time. The main narrative could’ve maybe been more focused but the writing is still really tight, and the game’s structure and systems are consistently excellent. Love the new combat, the focused scope, and the incredible soundtrack. Pretty ideal.

It’s like aight, I guess. Feels too Oscar-baity a lot of the time and maybe shows a bit too much sympathy to the Nazi officer trying to yoink the protagonist 💀. But the performances are solid and the lighting and sets are pretty well done. I’ve seen worse.

Rollin both seasons into one post cause of how hard I binged it. What an incredible series. Some of the most compelling cinematography and directing I’ve seen in a while working in perfect harmony with excellent writing and a beautiful score.

A world that’s just as beautiful as Tsushima with a slightly tighter narrative and a noticeably stronger soundtrack. Some of my quibbles in regards to combat from Tsushima still exist but the stances being replaced with bespoke weapons does feel better. Great time.

Will definitely need to rewatch this with the sub cause the dub didn’t feel all too great. A poignant piece about how man’s desire to find and create beauty in all things can often be twisted and distorted into enabling the machinations of war and destruction.
