Apparently no one knows what he’s doing in California or if he even is in California. You seem to be doing as much speculation. The pre-draft red flags were concerns about his commitment to the game.

…and on Only Weird Games Nate Taylor, who normally knows more than he lets on, is saying whatever happened wasn’t handled correctly by Simmons and he hasn’t been able to verify it was a family emergency. All of the actual reporters on this have been dropping these hints about this being odd.

So I met Kevin Lyman today at World Pride in DC. I had to take a second selfie because I was so nervous my camera hand was shaking for the first one. So many things I wanted to say but wanted to respect the man’s personal space. Having him wish me a Happy Pride was awesome.
