Air quality in the passenger lounge aboard Fjord1's "Losna" is excellent. I still wore my mask, even though this is a very low risk.

Went for a walk out to the lake today. Really need the exercise, and to get out of the cabin for a bit. Almost didn't get going. Almost stayed in to watch more videos on YouTube.

It's so peaceful here. Most of the time all I hear is birdsong. Sometimes I hear a car in the distance. The boat will be here soon to bring me back to Bergen.

Arriving back on the right side of the fjord. This stop is in walking distance of my cabin. And by walking distance I mean an hour of walking. As long as I only have to do that once a day, it's fine.

Ferry is here. "Losna" is named after one of the islands in the area she services, but she was built in Istanbul in 2016. I wonder how she travelled from there to here. How many stops to refuel on the way... I can't imagine that a car ferry has a lot of range.

I have been waiting here for an hour, and I still have another hour to go. It is very peaceful here. Trying to just enjoy the moment. It's a beautiful summer day, although it is only May.

Now arriving at the stop closest to my cabin. Used this one many times. But I am a pedestrian today as usual, so I'm taking the boat to the next stop - on the other side of Sognefjorden.

This unrepentant criminal has now turned off my desktop computer while I was playing a game for a third and last time. I know there is a setting in windows to alter what pressing the power button does. Took some searching - they've hidden it well, but I found it.

And since he was actually friendly to my girls (this was right after the previous time Turbo went missing - he came back 2 years later), I figured he could stay. He had no microchip and he wasn't neutered. He went by New Cat for a few weeks..

This is my cat Xiomara, presumed last of her litter. Her sister Fanari died earlier this spring, her brother Turbo Arcturus has been missing for the past year and a half, and at this point I'm not expecting to see him again. I'm planning to not acquire any more outdoor cats in my life..
