Science rant: since I can't find a solid account (maybe I am not looking hard enough) for a curvature receptive field that builds upon the V1 simple cells (edge and spatial freq. etc..), and locally continuous (nearby curvatures are mapped to nearby neurons). I asked Chatgpt. I like the art.

It amazes me the huge difference in technology between different parts of the world. The technology stratification is vast and its rate of advancement is huge. In 200 years, we went from animal to robot labour. Thinking about that there are people out there without the modern day nuance is ....?
