Fascists have never produced enduring economic gains. The best they can do is a brittle overheated war economy.

I want to be clear, leftists are economically clueless but they have good intentions. The far-right is far more economically destructive and with far worse motives. This is true globally.

People make a lot of noise about leftists being economically illiterate, and they are, but no one talks about how much right-wing economic strategy is just pure emotionalized dogma.

This is why the whole “NATO encroachment” thing is so stupid and patently false. If NATO really wanted to capture Russian territory or force a regime change they could. It would be disruptive but an offensive action by NATO could take Moscow and topple Putin fairly easily.

This borders on rogue nation behavior. Even the currently schizophrenic U.S. has signaled support for the transitional government.

It’s beginning to seem like the goal is not a regional realignment away from Iran and its proxies but rather sustained regional chaos.

Very clear the Netanyahu sees an opportunity to reset the table in the region (crushing Hamas, decapitating Hezbollah, bombing Iran) but Syria has already had a regime change that’s favorable to Israeli interests.
