Merlin Bird ID from Cornell labs can ID from a sound sample, if you’re wanting to confirm the identity.

Don’t give him ideas. Next thing he’ll be insisting on pulling the preserved samples from the CDC freezers and releasing them due to smallpox rights or some other worm-driven bullshit

Pillar of made up bullshit, more like.

I’ve got a bunch of them as well as dark-eyed juncos and house finches. The chickadees are unfortunately the jerks of the lot, by far… they throw away 20 seeds (most ticking off my window) for every one they accept, and they try to bully the juncos.

Potentially yes. Off the west coast of Central and South America.

They’re not only pulling this shit off the north coast of Venezuela. They’re also doing it in the Pacific.

Easier data integrity. People enter the most random shit when they can free type.

Especially for birth year. So many people just enter two digits.

When it’s from a selector list you know it’s going to be what you expect.

Bookseller: It’s a standard British bird, the gannet! It’s in all the books!

Customer: well, I don’t like them, they wet their nests!

They’re migratory game birds, so they have certain protections due to being migratory. It almost always requires hunting permits and for it to be in season.

Wait, they actually do have ads on Behind the Bastards? He jokes about the evil sponsors all the time then it’s nothing but podcast ads on their network. I guess they have no advertisers wanting to buy time for Canada as a region, so it defaults to their own stuff?

Until I saw the clarification that this was about AI I thought perhaps these podcasters were among the population who doesn’t have an inner monologue.

We do that in Vancouver as well. The tree map in the Vancouver GIS has 183K datapoints.

Unfortunately, with your second amendment it only takes one unhinged asshole who does.

I’m half expecting some kind of fuckery on the Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay ferry run where it crosses into US waters for a small bit.
