I draw and play video games.
The japanese version of Sly 1 altered the animated cutscenes to soften the features of various characters. Including shortening Sly's snout and giving him chubbier cheeks, and even removing Raleighs british teeth.

Played (what's currently released) of Raising the Bar: Redux. Extremely high effort and generally quality mod that, at least initially really sells the beta HL2 feel it's going for. It has some poor pacing, and level design feels very much like a mod. But worth a few hours of your day.

I've got no beef with achievement hunters, but at some point I think it's an unhealthy addiction.

Shoutouts to the creator of Yakuza Restored, and shoutouts to the creators of Yakuza for such a fucking good game. God. Time has only made me love it more.

It's been roughly a decade since I first played Yakuza and fell in love with it, so I figured it was about time for a replay. The game's turning 20 later this year, too so it feels appropriate.

This is only really relevant because it's clustered between every other game in the series being on sale.

One of the true tragedies of remake culture is that companies will put a remaster of a game up on modern platforms and then never put it on sale because they want to sell some shiny new version.

Incredibly insane thing to not only post, but keep up despite the numerous people finding it in extremely poor taste.

You gotta go for UFO, you know?

Oh baby what a game. I finally went ahead and played it, and I beat it in basically a single sitting. Been a while since I enjoyed a game this much.

Played through The Room for the first time and it was pretty good. Some awkward controls, bad escort AI, and hilarious stock sound effects did little to hamper the immaculate atmosphere on display, and the games narrative was entertaining to untangle too. I just wish Henry had any characterization.

I watched War of the Worlds. Actual once in a lifetime experience that will be wriggling in my brain for a while to come.

24. Zeno Clash: Absurb use of the Source engine to make one of the only first person beat em ups I can think of. Ace Team's art department blew it out of the water with expansive vistas, and bizarre crevices that bring out the truly alien feel of the land of Zenozoik.

23. Half-Life Alyx: This VR exclusive prequel blew my goddamn mind. As a first VR game, it will ruin every other VR game out there. And its very existence proves that Valve still knows how to make amazing games. They just refuse to like, finish them or something.

22. Hitman World of Assassination: I'm cheating by including all 3 games, but IO did too. A truly great stealth game whose only glaring, gross blister is the always online requirement. Remove that, and I honestly might have to put it higher on the list because it's just that good.

21. Snake Eater 3D: I mostly choose the 3DS version because it's funnier to do so, but Snake Eater really is one of the greatest games of all time and deserves all the priase it's been given.
