Four years for an incredible movie is better than 1 or 2 years for a cash grab movie.

Or maybe the narrative that food stamp recipients are lazy leeches is false, and maybe starving 100 people just because 1 of them might abuse the system is about the least Christ-like thing I've ever heard in my life.

Maybe if I'd been less selfish and lazy, God would have provided for me without nasty government handouts. Maybe it's my fault that I was "doing God's will" yet couldn't feed my family.

Or like myself again, back in 2014 working at a different church, where the then-pastor was stealing from the church while I made $750 a month. After leaving there, I got a management position at Walmart, but was just barely able to afford rent and needed SNAP to help cover our groceries.

Maybe if I had applied myself more, God would have handed me wads of cash to pay for food for myself, my wife, and our infant son.

She's a billionaire now with enough money to make God blush, plus a cultural following that rivals the Beatles, and she does nothing with it to actually make a positive difference in the world.

So no, I don't really care about her latest bland album.

9. The only way we get out of the crisis gripping our nation is together. I saw so many posting last week about how we can't go around labeling people we disagree with as monsters. Let's stop seeing each other as enemies and remember how much we have in common.

4. Your grief & rage are being exploited. Trump and his allies didn't care about Kirk, not really. What they do care about is finding a martyr to raise up who will give them an excuse to go after their enemies. The collective grief & outrage on the right is giving them that leverage.

3. The amorphous and mysterious left is not celebrating Kirk's death. Some individuals may be, but by and large, people on the left of the political aisle are not celebrating his murder. What people are doing is engaging with the words and actions of Kirk and refusing to enshrine him as a martyr.

2. The "left" did not kill Charlie Kirk. There is not one group that can be called "the left" as it is not a unified group/movement like MAGA.

1. The gruesome murder of Charlie Kirk was a tragedy and inexcusable. No one, including Mr. Kirk, should be gunned down in the streets like that. I did not agree with anything Charlie Kirk ever said, but no one deserves what happened to him. Period.

The religious right has been pretending to be persecuted for like 50 years. They only care about his death as far as they can exploit it to make themselves look like victims.

Oh that's why the game is $80, so they can buy ad time on the Sphere. 🙄
