I was able to play test Sylvan Tactics from Random Seed Games tonight with the game designer. Really fun board game with beautiful artwork and a great theme. Thanks Tyler Owen for the opportunity.

Nature never fails. The constant negativity, anxiety, anger, frustration, and shame in the daily world is really taking its toll on me. So I took a good long walk today. Found some fantastic woodland ephemerals including this beautiful bunch of Virginia Blubebells.

Made a quick spoon and spatula set for our friends. A birch tree fell over their drive during the last storm. We helped cut it up and thought this would be a fun way for them to remember their tree.

Terra and I found ourselves tracking a beaver on our nature adventure today. They seem to really love the hackberry trees. We also saw a few eagles and sat together for a quick cup of hot chocolate. Good times.
