Saw an eagle in a tree b4 we started our trip up north to see more eagles sitting in trees.Nests everywhere in Erie county. Can't miss them in bare winter.They flew over the icy waters near Marblehead lighthouse.Our last stop on this cold day, Old Woman Creek, with 20+ eagles, socializing, chilling.

Remembering. Creeks teeming with salamanders. Coal being burned for heat. My grandpa's shaving brush and basin in the corner of his kitchen. The sweet, well water and the solitary fish that swam there, keeping it clean. Our first microwave. Hours of throwing Frisbee with Dean in the football field.

My 13 yr old grandson sent me info about how those vids of dogs saving babies from falling tvs, etc, are AI. I asked him if that means I can't believe anything I see. He said no, just be skeptical. Then he said he just discovered those two metal heads for Division Bell are real. Youth is not wasted.

Sweetest thing from today's protest. A cute toddler looking at me as I clap and chant No Kings as he passes by in mom and dad's suv, buckled in the back, secure in his car seat, he flips around a small disc and smiles as he shows me his Captain America shield.

Went to poll worker training yesterday. All boomers and mostly women. I get it, I did not start working as a poll worker until Obama's 1st run. I love it when we have younger poll workers. Just trying to plant a seed. If you are under 40, think about it. You are welcomed and much needed.
