I saw the second plane hit the South Tower while stuck in traffic on the GWB. I did not see the towers fall, thankfully. I did live downwind of Ground Zero and endured the smell for months. Took me years to drive past the site. This photo is from my balcony

My morning. After torrential rains here, everything is a mud pit. I drive right into a hole of it. The tow truck drive brought his assistant which made everything okay!

Fellow librarians. Do your young patrons do this; push the books back into the shelves instead of leaving them faced? Every child that comes in seems to think it makes sense, and my colleagues assure me it happens in their libraries as well! 🧐
