No matter what your plans, “After you get where you're going, take off your shoes and your socks then walk around on the rug bare foot and make fists with your toes",it's better than a shower and a hot cup of coffee.

Happy Holidays and let's all have a healthy 2026!

Today marks Black Friday, and next week is Cyber Monday.

This year has seen a massive increase in spoofed sites and domains. To limit fraud remember to only use reputable sites, avoid clicking links in emails, and remember, "if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't".

September 15, 2025, marked 30 years since the release of the movie Hackers (1995), starring Jonny Lee Miller,Angelina Jolie, and Laurence Mason.

It's a fun movie, terrible hacking examples, but a cultural point where hackers were made into the good guys.

Dangling DNS entries can lead to reputational damage, data loss, or account compromise. Post-project cleanup is often a low priority for many teams. Failing to remove outdated or unused DNS records can result in significant security risks. infosec.exchange/@Anthony_Kra...

Insider threats aren't always disgruntled employees. Issues often stem from unintentional actions by employees either not knowing the proper process or not having guidance on sensitive data. Either way, having policies in place can make a world of difference.

As an FAA-licensed drone pilot, I perform pre-flight checks, especially after software updates. However, testing can miss subtle issues. Kudos to the FAA and Amazon for grounding flights until the issue was resolved.
