They started as cheap dollar store trees. I soaked em in water and scrubbed most of the fake snow fluff off of them, then spray primed em in dark brown. I hit em with some 3M super strength spray adhesive and then sprinkled the flocking on them.

My issue with things like the Crater has always been that instead of making the Gods and their impact seem bigger, it made the world feel smaller. Adventure and discovery is part of what makes discovering the lore feel so cool. And so much of it feeling crammed together takes away from that.
