I am not going to get into specifics right now for various reasons but all I can say is launchgood.com/1948 deserves to hit its goal in the light of the shit this industry does to @rasheedabueideh.bsky.social

You also have to Account for the 85% asset flip and shovel Ware on Steam though

What I realized is, that if studios do this once (align product with incentives and care about the game) you get a good game and probably a good launch.
If you do that every time like GGG with their leagues (smaller scope I know) you get immense consumer trust and good will.

Blizzard had that once

PoE1 has in many ways become a “master the spreadsheet and theory” game. If you know the game or follow a guide you won’t run into many difficulties until very late in the game.

In PoE2 you have a similar, although not yet as evolved complexity of systems, paired with challenging min2min gameplay

I have thousends of hours in PoE 1 and have played multiple closed beta tests and the ea extensively.

While the game in general is just great (music, atmosphere etc) the single best thing in PoE2 is how engaged you have to be.

Power fantasy - yes. But at the cost of care an attention to gameplay
