Idk if you have read enough Spider-Man to get this nerdy joke (and sorry to randomly skeet it to you) but the crossover of comics and cfb is low so I am sharing this with you

After years of waiting and collecting, I finally have all sixteen years of Chris Claremont’s legendary X-men run as Omnibus. I have wanted it all since reading bits of it randomly as a kid, but never had the chance to actually get my hands on them all until now. So happy right now

I am in the middle of a read through of all of Claremont’s stuff for like the fifth time and I love it more and more each time. These were a good investment

Haven’t been great at posting these as they happen, so wrapping up the year today. Below are books 51-60 for the year

Books 47, 48, 49, and 50 of the year. Thrilled to have completed my goal, now to see how high I can get my total

Books 45 and 46 of the year. The Lion and the Fox is an interesting book on Civil War era spycraft in England. The Cloisters was a mystery book about happenings in an NYC museum, and a fantastic debut book by the author. Bounced of A Spell for Chameleon, though

Books 42, 43, and 44 of the year. From Scratch is a really fun history of the Food Network. Ghost Story is the next in line of the fantastic Dresden Files series, and The Perfect Pass was a great look how football transformed into a passing game thanks to a revolutionary coach

Book 41 (40 was a short Star Wars book I forgot to take a picture of) is the next up in the Dresden files. Also pictures is the new omnibus I bought months ago that finally shipped. Secret Warriors is one of my favorite Marvel books ever

Working on reading more this year, gave myself a challenge of 50 books this year. This one is number 36 so far, really loving the recent Star Wars books. They feel like what I remember of the old EU, and expanding beyond the movies is great. (If you want the rest of the books, find me on Good Reads)

Going through a Batman read atm and came to this fantastic Norm Breyfogle cover.

Finally, they let Robin have pants

More new comics! In case it wasn't obvious, I love the X-Men. One more epic to finish off the New Mutants run, and 45 mainline issues of Gen X (but with all the tie-ins it wouldn't surprise me if that took 6 more epics)

New Comics that I picked up this morning. Still a long way away from having a full Claremont run on Uncanny, but always nice to pick up issues where I can. Just need someone to give me the first 60ish issues since those are never on sale.
