Today is Taxonomy Recognition Day! 🎉
There is a #NameItToSaveIt campaign by @tettris.eu

Here's one of my favorite species, the Brazilian gyre snail🐌 The pic shows specimens in the @nathist.bsky.social collection: the gyre snail plus another fave (Cuban painted snail) as bonus

New article! 🎉
With Rafael Rosa and Daniel Cavallari.

It has everything known about the magician treesnail 🧙🐌 - a species long under the radar.
A highlight is the use of CT scans to observe internal anatomy.

New article! 🚨🐌

This is a rather simple article but still rather curious. We found an exotic North American snail living on the top of the mountain of Trindade Island in the South Atlantic! 😨

Happy #FossilFriday! The coolest paleontologist of all time has finally been released globally in Fate/Grand Order.

I wrote about her before she was announced in the game - jgeekstudies.org/2021/02/11/m... - so the article might need updates.😅

Here's a new paper for #fossilFriday. 🥳

We studied freshwater snails across the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary in China and found out they weren't much affected by the end-Cretaceous mass extinction. 😮
