Some quick paintings I did on a recent trip to Seattle. Two from the airplane and one from the house we stayed at.

Our house and this tree were in the shade, but the sky was so sunny and bright. I tried to capture that contrast as best I could. I kinda like the way the neon sky does that.
(Bonus points if you can guess who my favorite surrealist is)

You ever get those weird shimmers and colors around the edges when you stare at something bright? And each eye sees some smearing because of tears or weirdness in your eye shape?

I tried to capture that as best as I could. View the stereograms to really capture the effect.
