Not a sidequest, but Dragonsong's Reprise (Ultimate) does do that. As it follows what would happen if you had stopped a certain event at the end of The Vault dungeon from happening and the consequences are extremely grave.

I feel if a remake ever did happen, it would for sure include stuff from the OVA. Since Kondo really likes it from interviews.

I would say Dark Fact could count, due to the nature of him being the first real enemy Adol ever fought that was a true life or death situation that he barely made it out of. There's also some level of respect considering that encounter in 9.

but yeah, satisfied with the ending I got. Got a fish wife and majority of my outcomes for factions and characters where positive. Abelard my absolute GOAT, no one trivialises encounters like this old man.

Since I want to play other stuff and focus on FF14 prep, I'm for sure going to watch videos of other choices and routes. Even going through this game, I could tell right away this is one of those games where choices truly have a drastic impact on how things go which is good!

Probably in the next few days, since I'm just warping up companion quests I have left before I progress the Questions and Answers quest which screams point of no return. All depends on how long act 5 is.

Really been having a great time. while the story overall might be stumbling near near the end due to just there being too many plotlines with no room to breathe, other aspects have still been able to make this a fantastic rpg experience. Plus really love how well Owlcat has adapted 40K.
