Wasn't sure if the difference was due to species or just variation on a theme. Chaff was diff. colour too, so I very much appreciate your help (as does our arborist).

Ok, I found it - definitely not E.sinuosa, one of the lehmanii subspecies.
Looks like we shall have to grow it for our reserves and then work out which subspecies. Playing the long game. 💚

Peduncles are flat but the pics I can find of E.sinuosa have round peduncles.
