If we're going to make progress, we need new leadership. Sen Durbin should be pressured to resign now so that Gov Pritzer can replace him well ahead of the midterms. And Sen Schumer cannot be leader if we have any hope of increasing the number of Democratic senators during the midterm elections.

There had better be Senate investigations in to this incredibly dangerous security failure. In any normal administration multiple cabinet heads would roll but of course not in this authoritarian one where your primary qualification is loyalty to the regime.
