I think there were very few people including me who actually read from textbooks during my undergrad. They have too much content and are also very inefficient compared to other methods of learning. They are only good if goal is to understand some topics deeply, but undergrad is more about breadth so

When you think about it, the model was trained with RL to pass the test cases in code, which means it was exactly reinforced to do what I'm using it to do.
