Month of Thanks Day 14: I am thankful for flowers!! I love all different flowers and the beauty they create in the landscape (and in the home in a vase)
I tend to notice them wherever I go.

Supposedly a rocket from whatever the hell Bezos rocket company is called (I can't be bothered to know) but instead it just looks like someone tossed an injectable medication tube into some clouds.

Month of Thanks Day 12: I am thankful for sleep! A commodity I used to have a lot of and now do not sadly. In fact I got very little last night.

I needed a lot of sleep as a child and I crave it now as an adult. Our bodies need that restoration so I’m trying to get better about it. 😴

I bought myself 2 Advent calendars this year because I saved up. I bought the Beekman 1802 skin care one and the See's Candies advent calendars. They have already arrived and I have not touched them despite temptation.
Beekman 1802 skin care Advent calendar that comes in little tins like a holiday village It has $400 worth of products in it. It cost $199. It's already sold out. Yes its fancy, yes I saved up the money for it months ago. See's Candies Advent calendar which is absolutely adorably designed but not really worth the price since the equivalent in candy from their store is half the price it costs. So it's really just the fancy packaging

When I get ads like this I wonder if MAGA people yell "I'm not buying that damn woke sofa!" but then have internal turmoil because they're made in the US so American jobs. 😀

I love both things but I particularly love to learn about the culture of food in different places and see how they make it
Tony Shaloub’s Breaking Bread is my current favorite but all the Stanley Tucci shows set in Italy are also wonderful

I'm getting a new phone tomorrow and I'm realizing how many new accessories/chargers/plugs I need to replace what I've been using for years and years. What a pain in the butt. (moving from Lightning to USB-C)
The one thing I am certain of is I love having a phone case with a ring on the back.
A phone case with a ring on the back that you can use (sort of) as a stand but mostly it means you can "wear" your phone on your hand instead of needing to carry it with any of your fingers

Month of Thanks Day 8: thankful for pesto!
The history of Pesto comes from Genoa, Italy & comes from an Roman sauce called moretum (crushed herb dip)
The word comes from the verb “pestare” meaning to pound

I love pesto on just about anything! Pasta, gnocchi (my favorite), sandwiches, pizza
