Yet these Senators are just fine with people experiencing the misery of being unable to afford health care. Plus, the “promise” they got to hold a vote on health care later on is meaningless, as the word of a Republican means nothing.

People who vote against the streetcar aren’t against transit. They’re against vanity projects masquerading as transit. Maybe now we can start getting serious about dedicated bus lanes and BRT.

Malhotra had a better stance on TrailsATL than Overstreet. However, his eager embrace of BRN’s efforts to devote the entirety of More MARTA funds to the Beltline streetcar was a dealbreaker for many. Bond’s election probably won’t make a difference, as the streetcar’s greatest enemy was always math.
