to call for climate justice. The 20-meter banner you just saw was created from the ashes of the Amazon forest fires by Brazilian artist, Mundano! 🎨✨🔥

Marina Silva, Brazil’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change, spoke about the importance of centering traditional and Indigenous peoples in the renewable energy transition.

I was lucky to be selected to participate as one of the 200 climate justice activists from 70 countries. And I wasn't alone, I was part of a buddy group with 7 ✨ amazing ✨ people from Indonesia. 📸 🇮🇩

I traveled for more than 30 hours to Brasilia to attend the training as a representative of Kpop4Planet for the Renew Our Power Gathering hosted by @350 🇧🇷. ✈️

With the climate crisis worsening, wildfires like these are only going to become more frequent. We have to find better ways to respond and adapt.

Korea wildfires have burned through a larger area than the ones we saw in LA earlier this year. Many people have lost their homes, and ancient temples have been reduced to ashes.

Hoping the fires can be put out soon, and recovery for the affected communities can begin as quickly as possible. 🥀
