Omg! That’s actually atrocious behavior. I’m VERY fortunate that most of my friends have been in my life since childhood and most of us grew up the same way. Being in our 30s with our own lives we are all in different income brackets, but we still take care of each other. No one should act like that

I couldn’t agree more. I grew up very poor until my mother got married when i was about 13. I’ve always been the kind of friend that if i have $50 and you have zero then WE have $50. People that grew up in privilege often times don’t know how to care for people in a communal sense, because they

I think you’re so right. Just like any 35 year old woman with divorced parents it isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. I’m sure there are regular fights and disagreements, but at the end of the day she trusts them. I do think she has relieved Scott of a lot of his duties and he works less now though
