I like this better than the government run liquor stores in several states I’ve lived in. Or govt manipulating oil prices to help keep gasoline affordable. Why the heck not help people afford food?

I have said this for years. I don’t doubt we will see it, maybe quite soon. It already happens in practice on a local level of course.

Great roast. But seriously, every time a media “celebrity” writes a book, journalists jump to cover them so that when THEY write a book they can ask for reciprocation. Books by media figures always receive more attention than their work often deserves on the merits.

But legally they can only be deported back to their country of origin, right? And not directly into a prison there?
