But over-heat can cause glass to explode, too. Had it happen to me last week when a lightbulb filament went bonkers and blew the bulb to bits.🤦🏼‍♀️

All very possible. My admittedly untrained eye doesn't see impact, tho, so I defer to you aviators and your expertise. Whatever the cause, just damn glad they didn't lose the glass altogether. Don't need any more pilots getting sucked out of the cockpit.😬🙏
