Greed always ends in the same way, whether it is greed for power, greed for money or anything else. The cup drains every single time.

"If you make your hobby your job you won't have to work a single day" they said. But what if job dynamics and politics spoil the very things you enjoyed? Then your hobby dies, the work sucks, and you're left with an empty shell where joy used to be.

Funny how all those MAGA patriots, protectors of the US constitution seem to be triggered by people exercising their constitutional rights today. I guess their love for the constitution is conditional on party. But we already knew that...

4 years under Biden never had an issue flying. The last month alone I had 2 cancelations/delays over 4 hours. I guess it’s DEI #sarcasm

The funniest thing in all these is that Sortor and all the MAGA really believe that the Portland police knows who the fuck he is lol
I slowed down a video of Nick Sortor in Portland from Wed night to show he pushed this woman first in this altercation. Sortor claimed he was attacked last night (Thurs) and was unfairly arrested, and Pam Bondi has since called him to tell him the feds will investigate his "wrongful arrest."

Here is a well-articulated opinion from someone in the industry. As it was my initial thought, this is just a publicity stunt for his base

Are we reaching a point where state succession is going to start being discussed? I am only saying discussed because the constitutional hurdles makes it almost impossible to happen. However, I truly believe that the division in the country is so deep that these conversations might start to happen

I am teaching for first time an online course this semester and a lot of the assignments are coding that is auto-graded with tests on the functions. So today I got an e-mail that read: “For assignment 2 part 1, in Bayesian, Part 2 Hierarchial Models, [1/2]

MAGA is upset that the #NFL picked Bad Bunny for their SB halftime show. They do not understand that even NFL sees the (monetary of course) benefit of being a global brand instead of being an isolationist

Can someone explain to me like I am 5, what are MAGAs trying to say/prove/claim with the whole J6 claim that it was a hoax. Are they claiming FBI did it?

It seems that I should have been desensitized to the timeline that we are living today but it is always amazing. People will just make shit up and push them like facts, then their followers will not even check on them being true and further push the lies. And then everyone lives in their own reality

Speaking of national archives, since MAGA wants to get us back to the 50s here is a relevant video from the Dept of Defense back then that is still relevant today bsky.app/profile/kpel...
Weaponization of the National Archives now.
This is an illegal and dangerous weaponization of the federal government.

That Jack Ciattarelli and the Trump admin are breaking the law and exposing private records for political gain is a violation of anyone who has ever served.

No veteran's record is safe.

When did we trade reason and thought for rumors and conspiracies. In everything that is happening people are vying to find the lowest likelihood event (that feeds a narrative)

The metaphor in this image is applicable to many parts of our society (not only in the US unfortunately). People want the easy way out but still want the recognition/results, the word effort is not in their vocabulary but instant gratification is at the top of the list. You can [1/3]
