So this is kind of bananas. I just updated my series 6 Apple Watch to Watch OS 26 and it’s losing charge *while it’s on the charger.* About 1% a minute. (And yes, it’s properly seated and showing the charge icon.)

WWII-era Boeing B-17 bomber flying over Seattle yesterday. Reminder from a time when we actually used to fight fascists. Also, these things are LOUD. Hard to imagine what it must have sounded like when there were hundreds flying in formation on a bombing run.

Replaced the balky WiFi 360 pods that came with my Quantum Fiber subscription with a TP-Link Deco wifi 7 mesh system and oh boy, what an improvement. Like night and day.

I would bet good money that less than 10% of Apple users know the version numbers of the software installed on their devices. They could call the next version “iOS Bloort” and almost no one would notice. Or care.
