Replication starts from (mostly) random locations to (mostly) random directions smoothing any biased errors(?). Would be consistent with e.g. human genome and your examples.

Oh.. that's consequence of basepair complementarity in DNA replication. Weird thing is that C+G% varies 20-70% by species. And CG dinucleotides are rare in mammals (except in functional parts). So in essence: genomes are nothing like uniform i.i.d.

Not in the foreseeable future. Though devil in the details: rare as cause of death? Given diagnosis? Given metastasis (i.e. "real" cancer)? For the first two, maybe on few decades.

But it tells exactly about the generalization abilities. The model can "understand" that the question has a correct solution and it can write code to compute it, but it didn't.

What would you suggest replacing the ubiquitous "bgziped, tabix indexed, tsv file":s? I'm currently tempted by duckdb databases but have no idea about energy trade-offs (or nasty corner cases)

Mitä valtio tekisi sillä viljalla? Parempi ostaa optioita seuraavan kauden satoon, jolloin viljelijä voi tehdä pellolleen mitä näkee kannattavaksi (kunhan pitää viljelykunnossa)

We haven't really seen how he's like this time. Last time he successfully avoided wars by caving in every time there was a threat of one.
