Here goes Erica – a Purplefin Quorush!

These funny-walking creatures can be found in middle latitudes and feed on mosses, fungi, lichens and plant seeds – basically everything that can be found on or near tree trunks and doesn’t fight back.

This is Desmond – a Tabletop Dragon!

Quite a rare sight since these species prefer to avoid attention and signal their presence mainly through little wet traces they leave behind. Disliked by gardeners for these very traces and devoured shoots of decorative plants.

This week meet Charlie – an Electric Thornside!

Despite the popular belief Thornsides are not poisonous. Night hunters, they use bioluminescence to attract small insects and stun them with slight electric charges.

B is for Bob – a Honeycomb Hurmfler!

As may be deduced from the name, honey forms the base of their ration. Hurmflers (aka Bear Slugs) produce special pheromones to fool the bees into letting them enter the hive. Thick slime-covered skin provides extra protection.
