TBH I think that that is the default setting and many people don't know to change it. I am always surprised by the random stuff I see in my feed, most from people I hardly know or worked with years ago.

I see a lot of red hats when I visit my parents in SW PA and they are not going to be happy when frozen chicken nuggets are $25 per bag at Walmart because the poultry plants cannot find workers. Losing Medicaid, SNAP, and VA benefits is going to hurt, too. Will they blame Trump? Doubtful!

If you have 35+ years as a federal employee you should easily be retirement-eligible. Maybe not old enough for social security, but TSP and pension with health benefits should be plenty if you were even modestly successful with your TSP.
