YES @kozibear.bsky.social !!!! Not to mention how chatty (and excessively hand-hold-y) Adam was in Fusion, and yet people generally adore that game.

God of War, Uncharted, Halo, Elder Scrolls… all beloved franchises that also have excessively chatty characters at times. It’s gonna be okay y’all 😂

directly-impactful storytelling present in so many of the other AAA games that I love, to not be overly beholden to the way that the series’ narrative machinations have traditionally worked. Now, seems like the minority of fans like me that asked for this are due for some buyers remorse, (2/3)

believe the sequence where you visit Vanaheim for the first time and Brok is constantly babbling one-liners is the single worst sequence in any GoW game, period. And yet - this didn’t stop Ragnarok from being cherished as one of the best games in its franchise; case in point, if the (2/3)

are tied to game’s narrative decisions. I felt pretty deeply attached to the choices I made in my first playthrough, and don’t want to go about making different ones just to up my Platinum count; wish that the trophies had all been tied to collectables/side activities, like Life is Strange (2/2)

its third never quite reaches the same emotional stakes as its preceding chapters/almost feels more an epilogue to the tough decisions that came before it. Even so, I still wholeheartedly recommend checking the game out!) (2/2)
