So instead of working diligently today I finished Squeak Thief, by Kyell Gold. Not a bad read at all. I think I’ve learned I’m not a big heist story fan but I still enjoyed it. The twist got me tho (and the smut was fun :3c). Definitely recommend ^^

So instead of working diligently today I finished Squeak Thief, by Kyell Gold. Not a bad read at all. I think I’ve learned I’m not a big heist story fan but I still enjoyed it. The twist got me tho (and the smut was fun :3c). Definitely recommend ^^

So I started to do my fall garden cull for the season and I have entirely too many peppers good lord. Scheming up my to-do list for this weekend.
-3 batches of jalapeño jelly
-3 batches of mad hatter jelly
-2 batches of habanero apricot jelly
-1 or 2 batches of salsa verde

I did a very similar shelf stable set up for my pickles this year too. Mustard seed, salt, bay leaves, dill, black peppercorns, coriander seed, and ground habanero powder (from my home grown habs last year ^^) brined in white vinegar. They are so good :3

Jelly is done! I burnt myself pretty good tho. Not too happy about that, but yeah! Jars are done and I wait until tomorrow to check them. I sure hope the pectin sets. I’m paranoid about it not setting for some reason.
