thanks a lot for your comment, amazing to hear that insight. I can understand regret, loss and all the negative feelings are there, but yet still - this is one of the only paths V can survive. it perfectly illustrates what you outlined in other posts - survival comes at the cost in this world.

Great post Igor, Devil ending was always my favourite one. I had chills during that sequence. With hindsight of the Tower ending and what happens in 2079, I always thought there is no way Devil ending can be canonized in later games due to Saburo being alive. Do you have any thoughts on this part?
