There's no rule against interfaith marriages in CoE as far as I know! I think it's just one half of the marriage has to be baptized and confirmed in the CoE. But there is a rule against same sex marriage 🙃 so they'd have to fight that part more than anything else.

I don't think it's ORIGINALLY Alex and Henry's wedding. I think the movie starts on Bea's wedding to throw us off. And then stuff happens (me, begging Casey to have put in whatever the incident with the Dutch Minister was from the bonus chapter). And then Alex and Henry have their engagement arc.
