I mean right up till the last it refused to load the guanyin, it really was banking on no happy endings

Yeah yeah!! God I really do love how Meta svsss (and orv!!) are and how it really makes me think about what it means to be a part of the creation of a story, what limitations are self imposed base on the perceived role, and how all of that can change by choosing a new path!!

I loved this thread and it encapsulates my feelings so well. Like I know Binghe rejected the idea of a writer as a god but so much of this book is precisely about the roles of narrative expectation and Binghe also has those expectations and is fallible
