My rage at antivaxers was informed by my experiences as an adult and as a parent in California.

RFK Jr and his ideology murdered my friend and endangered other friends.

I can not forgive.

My Jewish Dem friends are troubled by the embrace of anti-Zionism and its tropes within parts of our party. This isn't just dangerous for Jews, but for the entire progressive movement. We must focus on real problems, not imaginary ones. #JewishAndDemocrat

Star Wars & Real World Tactics: The Death Star thought it was invincible against a large attack, but a small one got through. Ukraine's strikes on Russian bombers demonstrate that focusing on a strategic weakness with unexpected tactics is effective. #StarWars #MilitaryStrategy

Lost a long-time Irish friend post-Oct 7th to blatant antisemitism (disguised as anti-Zionism). My messy reaction (shared a private msg badly) was less upsetting to him than the antisemitism itself. It led me to reflect on the tragedy of war, and I dove into understanding Irish antisemitism.

The short version is that the Democrats hoped that the GOP caucus would break into the House or that the GOP Senators would have a spine.

Neither happened.

The gambit of not voting for the CR was to force a better CR. But that required the GOP not to be as united.

He wasn't working out in Nashville, and after they saw their experiment in signing didn't pan out, they needed to go in a different direction.

Carrier would never be worth as much to Nashville as to Montreal.

What is more mystifying is how Huges pulled this off under everyone else's noses.

A reminder of why the opponents of Roe v Wade are shitheads and that the Secretary of Defense will weaken military preparedness and that will ultimately affect national security.

But at least the libs were owned.

When dealing with supremely powerful people, getting them to say they are wrong is impossible.

Mark could not deny what he said. But he could praise Sheryl for other reasons.

So she got him to acknowledge her. And she said nice things about him.

This is as close as an apology you can get

As a Greek, I always felt that the idea of giving an honored guest like Santa some milk and cookies to be - literally - insulting. Like - seriously. A guest arrives and we have a few meager cookies? And a glass of milk? He's going to leave our house thinking we don't want him there.

So these pages do a lot to affirm the argument that it was Middle East studies were the original entry point for antisemitism.

Reading this book. As part of my attempts to find the bottom of the rabbit hole of how American Universities became hotbeds of antisemitism aka Antizionism

A 20 year old book makes the compelling case that it was middle eastern studies.

Understanding authoritarian regimes in their nots and bolts is critical. Only by studying it can we understand how to protect freedom

I am reading a book called the Nazi Conscience and it has the following shocking to me quotes

The first observes that Germans were not particularly antisemitic, and second they became antisemitic because they became Nazis.

Judaism is so deeply misunderstood by non Jews to be almost farcical

Here is a summary of Judaism that I have found that is not Rabbi Hillel’s famous dictum.

When you say Jews believe, read this and if it’s not here they don’t.
