I was envisioning two of these inflatable pods connected by a carbon fiber box strut. Connect a module to the trailing edge of the ISS to hold it, spin it up and maybe even release it on a tether if all goes well. Sure it's tens of millions but worth trying before de-orbiting the ISS.

I'm curious why this hasn't been done at small scale yet up in space. We've been up there for so many years.. Seems like a more important experiment than spider webs.
