Hand recoils before the gun does. Gun should recoil first, then the hand reacts.

Don't ease into the start of the recoil, it should happen very abruptly.

Pistol looks like it's leaning left, grip might be too relaxed.

The flick on draw feels odd, like it's a cross draw and he's limp-wristing it?

I can't confirm the crypto fascist thing, but that would also be a good reason to fork lol.

Ideally, the premise of a mechanic and at least some of its potential should be very easy to learn through playing it. Usually helps when the mechanic is introduced at a time where you want to use it, so your brain makes that connection ASAP.

Bigass tutorials are nice as an option though, IMO.
