Believe it or not, that was the calm before the storm. Wind's just picking up now. The lightning flashes themselves and the thunder in the distance are surprisingly calming for me.

They had exactly one (1) bright yellow zinnia at the store that I wanted to get to break up the color scheme, but it looked already half dead. 🙁 Anyway, now that it's out of the small pot I fully expect the needle to grow faster than everything else.

Alright, this has got to go. Never got many strawberries anyway, and this year none at all because thanks to the plant lice, they didn't even go into bloom. I went and bought pretty stuff yesterday, so let's plant those.

My sunflowers are taking ages to bloom, and the slugs killed a few of them. 🙁

So, having to relocate a freaking wasp nest out of my freaking wardrobe in my freaking bedroom was not something I thought I'd have on my bingo card for this year. Alas...
