I doubt I would either. I used a quasi medium format Fujifilm GFX 100 camera for this image, which has a 102 megapixel sensor. So I could print this huge and the detail would be amazing!

I hear you! I have lived here off and on for 7 years. We love it! I just wish we would have moved here 25 years ago and raised our kids here!

That is awesome! They are pretty stealthy unless you know where to look and really don’t come out until dusk. So it makes sense you wouldn’t see them and only hear them. Still cool though!

Thank you! You are very welcome! I try and walk at least 5 miles every day. In the last 11 days I have not seen one heron up close. Yet, I keep going back and one of these days I witness and document something amazing!

Thank you! This owl family lives in a nature area surrounded by urban sprawl. They are used to people living and walking right by them. This summer they got used to me stopping by most evenings. I was able to get within 20 to 30 feet away. They continued life. Even catching rodents.
